Great threads. Bite in perfectly. Drive straight and quick. They even include the star bit that you need. Very satisfied.

Screws work great, no complaints about the product quality. But my box was missing the T15 bit that was supposed to be included. Had to use my own.

The screws themselves are fantastic—sharp tips and zero cam-out. Only complaint is the cardboard box they came in busted open inside my tool bag. Transfer them to an organizer bin and you’re golden.

Much better than Phillips!!! Torx drive is a game changer. No stripping, drives in smooth. Will buy again.

A bit more expensive than what you find in bulk at big box stores, but the performance is noticeably better. Drove about 100 of them into oak and didn't experience any split wood. Solid product overall.

Used these for a built-in shelving project. The low-profile head sits nice and flat, leaving a clean look that doesn't interfere with drawers or hinges. Self-starting tip works as advertised in standard plywood.

The screws themselves are sharp and drive straight without issues. My only minor complaint is that the cardboard box arrived a bit crushed in the mail. I usually transfer them to an organizer bin anyway, but sturdier packaging would be nice.

They bite well and hold cabinets securely to the wall. Just be careful not to overdrive them with an impact driver at the end, or you might shear the head off. Once you get a feel for the torque, they work fine.

Pricey, but worth it !They cost a bit more than the generic ones at the big box store, but you definitely get what you pay for. Not a single snapped head while driving into oak.

Used these to hang upper cabinets. The wafer head pulls everything tight without sinking too deep into the plywood. Good bite.

FAQs

Do I need to pre-drill before using Vertexa Cabinet Screws?+
In most cases, no. Our cabinet screws feature an aggressive self-tapping point (Type 17 cut) that bites quickly and drives smoothly into plywood, MDF, and softwoods without splitting. However, when fastening very close to the edge of dense hardwood face frames, a quick pilot hole is still best practice for a 100% split-free, flawless finish.
Are these screws strong enough for hanging heavy upper cabinets to wall studs?+
Absolutely. Designed for structural integrity, the #8 gauge shank delivers excellent shear strength to prevent snapping under heavy loads. More importantly, the integrated washer head acts as a built-in load distributor, creating massive clamping force that prevents the screw head from pulling through the cabinet backing.
Will the washer head sit flush, or will it interfere with my cabinet hardware?+
The head is meticulously engineered to seat perfectly flush. Even with the expanded washer profile for maximum holding power, the low-profile design ensures it sits flat against the cabinet interior or perfectly inside standard mounting brackets and hinges. You get a clean, professional look with zero interference for doors and drawers.
Which head style is best for cabinet installation?+
Wafer and washer-style heads provide broad bearing; choose based on visibility and pull-through resistance.
Can CabiMax be used in MDF?+
Choose the appropriate thread and length for the material thickness, and test edge distance on scrap before production work.
