Screws are not as shown in description. They are comes more like brown not "golden"

We understand your point, and we sincerely apologize for the trouble this has caused. This particular batch turned out a bit too dark in color; we will make improvements moving forward. As a gesture of compensation, we would like to send you a replacement with the correct color, along with a discount voucher.

Happy it came with a longer bit for the drill!

Been wanting to add trim head screws to my assortment but locally they are way to expensive these fit my budget and seem to be good quality

Never knew they mfg these types of screws with framing head. Great idea....vs nails....not having a nailer...I pre drilled all my holes, pre set screws and used my impact drill to drive and countersink each head...cover the holes with pink spackle mud ...sanded and no signs of drill or screws.

These screws are perfect for practically all of them. The smaller head footprint makes it much easier to use nearly everywhere.

Strong screws, great price, quick delivery. They work great for my projects

Needed a trim screw with a tiny head for a home improvement project. I’d prefer a square drive to the torx dive on these. The reason is that the coating on these makes it difficult to engage the diver bit in to the screw head. I have use a similar product with a square drive head and it was easier to insert the driver bit in to the screw. I had no problem with the receiver stripping out.

I used these instead of a nail gun to fasten tongue and groove siding as a wall covering inside my shed. It worked well for the application because these have a narrow head.

FAQs

Will the trim head pull through soft wood?+
Use appropriate torque and test on scrap. For high clamp force or very soft material, choose a broader head style.
Do I need to pre-drill when using these on delicate trim or near edges?+
In most softwoods, pine, and composite trims, pre-drilling is not required thanks to the self-tapping point and specialized thread cut that channels fibers away. However, when working with brittle hardwoods (like red oak or maple) or fastening within 1" of a board's edge, drilling a pilot hole is always recommended to guarantee a 100% split-free result.
Can FinishPro be used outside?+
Select an exterior-rated coating compatible with the material and exposure.
Does the head countersink cleanly, or will it leave a ragged hole that is hard to fill?+
The ultra-compact trim head features integrated cutting nibs under the head that cleanly bore into the wood surface without tearing the grain. It countersinks just below flush, leaving a minimal, clean pocket that can be covered with a tiny dab of wood filler or putty before painting or staining.
What bit size do these take, and how do you prevent stripping out such a small drive?+
These screws use a precision Torx drive T10, which provides six points of deep contact to virtually eliminate cam-out and slippage. We include a matching contractor-grade bit in each pack. For best results, use an impact driver with steady, straight-line pressure.
Why use trim head screws instead of a 16-gauge or 18-gauge finish nail gun?+
While finish nails are faster, they rely solely on friction and can work loose or pop out over time as lumber expands and contracts. Trim head screws deliver massive mechanical clamping force and withdrawal strength. They are essential for heavier trim, window extension jambs, door casing realignment, and applications where you need to pull warped boards tight to the framing.
Can I use these for assembling cabinet face frames and working with MDF?+
Absolutely. The slender shank and compact trim head make these ideal for pocket-hole-free cabinet face frame joinery, window extension jambs, and MDF moulding. Unlike standard wood screws, the slim head won’t create excessive outward pressure that causes mushrooming or splitting in dense MDF cores.
